FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Pressure-tight doors are optimally suited for use in drinking water reservoirs. They offer optimum tightness so that no drinking water can escape. The pressure-tight door is therefore also ideal as a maintenance opening when the reservoir is being cleaned. Of course, the seal and other components are also certified for use in drinking water applications.

Security doors, on the other hand, are specially designed for the drinking water supply of buildings with burglar alarm systems.

The designation RC indicates the resistance class of building components and is regulated in DIN EN 1627. The attached number indicates how long the building component can withstand a burglary attempt with a defined tool. (The category is equivalent to the former designation WK3.)

You have the possibility to choose various additional options for a HUBER security door. As electronic monitoring options, we offer for example a lock bolt contact, a magnetic contact or an alarm system in the door surface.

The door can best be protected from sunlight by a sheet metal or wooden covering.
