The complete equipment for preliminary mechanical wastewater treatment is installed on two separate treatment lines. Both the coarse screen RakeMax® and fine screen STEP SCREEN® SSV are screen types that have proven their efficiency on many large sewage treatment plants all over the world. This type of step screen is especially suitable for installation in deep channels.
The screenings from both the coarse screen and the fine screen are removed and transported through a launder channel. The screenings are treated in the HUBER Screenings Wash Press WAP® L units which are suitable for launder channel feeding. A specially designed half-pipe solution is installed as screenings discharge system. The half-pipe design permits easy, densely packed container feeding across the full width of the container.
Grit treatment is ensured by the well-proven HUBER Coanda Grit Washer RoSF4.
Especially the combination of well-proven machines and the reliable, easy-to-operate launder channel solution is setting new standards.
Start-up work for the complete plant is well under way these days. HUBER SE is happy about the first successful steps that have been made to put the equipment for preliminary mechanical wastewater treatment into operation.
