On 1st September, twenty young people started to work at HUBER SE as new trainees to learn the profession of a sheet metal worker, precision mechanic, wastewater specialist, technical product designer, or industrial management assistant. Furthermore, two industrial engineering students have started their career at HUBER as part of their dual study program. Especially positive is the growing percentage of female trainees in production, with three precision mechanics and one sheet metal worker this year.
Also this year, the company uses the first days to familiarize the new trainees with their employer and new colleagues with a complete welcome program: welcome by CEO Georg Huber, company rally, tour of the company, walking tour, initial trainings and information. This helps the young people to start their job well prepared and makes it easier for them to adapt to the new environment and get to know each other and their new colleagues.
When their actual training begins in the different departments of the company for the next years, they will learn everything they need to pass their final examination and be successful in their further career. And it is not unlikely that this will continue at HUBER, for HUBER employs trainees primarily to satisfy its own labour demand and gives a guarantee for a job in the company to everyone who completes his/her professional training with a successful certification, true to the motto "Trainees are the basis of our future".
