Site Description

The Jabel Ali labour camp is located 40km from Dubai and was built to provide short term housing for approximately 3000 construction workers. The labour camp consists of approximately 800 containerised temporary housing units.

 

HUBER Water Recycling System

For this project, HUBER designed, supplied, installed and commissioned a 360m³/day Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) ultra filtration system to treat the combined black and grey wastewater. The treated water is collected and stored in tanks, from where it is taken away by tanker trucks and recycled in a variety of locations for irrigation, wash down and various other uses.
